Hello friends...So I wrote about you...

Hey over at Real World I'm talking about my friends. Since some of you are considered my friends--yea you! Not you no sorry not you...but yea YOU, you right there...thought you might want to go and check it out! :)

Here's a blurp:

...Even though my close friends and I don't get together as often as we would like, when we DO get together we start right where we left off. Sure we catch up on what we have missed in each other's lives, but then it's back to eating fattening foods, talking about everyone and eveything, and solving all the world's problems, oh and laughing… laughing until we can't breathe! The people that I'm drawn to...someone that can make me laugh guy or girl...the ones that will talk spirtually with me one minute...but then the next minute laughing at one another as we reminisce at how retarded we were when we thought we knew it all...

Dr.'s report at my 3 week check up. I get to wear the freaking brace for at least another three weeks! D@*M my slow healing bones!!! *shakes fist in the air*

***I just like to milk the whole collar bone because I have friends out there... you know who you are...that LOVE for me to mention it! :) hehehehe (pppfffttt hole in your head...my broken collar bone is much worse. LOL)

Much love to you guys,

Someone was murdered!!! Read on...

Last night was fun...although somewhat scandalous...I call it fun!

I'm not anything if not totally and completely a gossip! Truly!

A few weeks ago I attended a high class dinner with my LOVER who we shall name Mr. Green...since this is my journal I can divulge that I have a lover...otherwise I would have to kill you for letting you in on the secret, but you won't tell anyone...right?

Well just last week I was summoned by a court order to appear at the house of Sir William Wright...

Apparently, at that glorious and plush dinner there was a murder...and ALL that attended the dinner were being called back to figure out who the murderer was.

Because the dinner we attended was in the honor of someone HIGHLY famous they didn't want to bring unwanted publicity to it...so we were to attend ANOTHER dinner in this person's honor with the sole purpose of figuring out who the murderer was...

I, of course, was appalled about the murder...but being the person that I am, a highly curious and best Relief Society gossiper around, I KNEW without a doubt in my heart who killed the poor person that shall-not-be-named at the house and dinner party of a HIGHLY famous person that cannot-be-named...so I HAD to go, to pour out my knowledge to those who may not have as quick and keen of a mind such as myself...nor do they have the ability to KNOW about everyone as I did...

Just saying...

These were our place cards...they wrote my name in as MRS. Green...isn't that nice, they knew we weren't married, but lovers...yet it was TOO scandalous to invite the same lover twice to such a dinner party...so they made subtle changes...I mean, they couldn't put on it "Mr. Green's LOVER" now could they?

This was our mug shot...they called it a, "Memory Shot"...for evidence...I made sure not to crack a smile, I heard they can figure out a lot by a person's teeth...and color of teeth--I outsmarted them!!! Mr. Green and I had been busy in the coat closet right before this...unfortunately he was still a little distracted...(Shaking my head--I have that affect on people...it's a curse). I made sure to give them my most, "Don't mess with me look"!

Miss Scarlet...the skank...sorry, but she is...was there also! Looking even MORE beautiful than she did the first dinner. Although, the poor boy toy she drug along to attend dinner with her was smitten! We get along famously, Miss Scarlet and I!!! (I wonder if he has any money, maybe when I'm bored with Mr. Green, or spend all his funds, I can move onto him! hmmm...)

Mrs. Peacock brought along her husband...they seem to get along fine, but with a chin structure like that? Who couldn't get along with him? She looks highly suspicious...no?

Colonel Mustard brought along his "wife"...we all know that his plus one and a half was not REALLY his...but though the guy looks like he can wack off your head with one fell swoop of his sword arm...I hear he's a teddy bear--the thought of him murdering ANYBODY is ludicrous...but I never REALLY felt that tummy of hers...maybe she's hiding something, or SOMEONE, in there? One must leave all things open if they want to come to any conclusions...can't rule something out just because looks are very deceiving!

Mrs. White..."the maid and cook", worse one I've ever come across...sat with the homey she is pictured with...although they didn't come together...there WERE suspicous noises coming from the kitchen and NEITHER of them were around when we heard the noises...so we suspected they were TOGETHER...they seem pretty close in this picture...don't you think? She died her hair, got more modern glasses, and definitely had some stuff done on her face since the last time we all spied her!

Professor Plum brought along his college student...who attended the first dinner, saying she was there for research purposes for her "Class English Paper"...none of us were fooled...we ALL knew why she was there. The Professor likes them young, doesn't make him a murderer though...or does it?

There was lots of drinking...and conversing...and suspicious looks being glared back and forth.

Some very interesting potions and things being mixed up...I called it "Happy Mist"...Just saying...

From this point of view...nobody looks like they could kill anybody!

But then again...after putting that photo through my "True Self Machine"...this is what I got...and Mrs. Peacock looks like she is ready to kill someone and her Plus One looks willing and able to assist!

When it came down to it all...after three tries trying to figure it out...It was the last person I suspected...

It was Professor Plum, In the Ballroom, with the Lead Pipe!

What a pansy...who kills with a lead pipe anymore?

How was your weekend? Missed ya!

Love,

Shelle

P.S. Last chance to become one of the Final Four for the IPOD SHUFFLE in my Don't You Hate It When contest...see ya tomorrow!!!

GNO Breath of Fresh Air

May 15, 2008

I was SO lucky to have another Girls Night Out...this time with my friends in West Jordan, or that I met while in my HOUSE...that is not my HOUSE anymore, but my OLD HOUSE now...only that I haven't replaced it with a new one yet...so what does that make it? Hmmm...the HOUSE that I lived in before our lives were knocked around and thrown upside down...that house.

I blog stalk my West Jordan Friends daily...unless my husband hides the computer...other than that...a daily blog stalk...I'm in love with their kids...They hang out with me even though they are all a class above me...they inspire me, make me laugh, make me think, make me feel normal, and oh...make me laugh!!! I love them...so I attacked their blogs last month and asked them to meet up with me in May and have some fun together!

Not all of my friends could come...some I'm sure I forgot to invite...and others were busy, but the ones that came...THANKS...I had a blast and you were a breath of fresh air in my everyday ordinary and somewhat crazy life. Oh how I wish I could still go over to her house to watch "Grey's Anatomy" and string my fingers through her daughters incredibly gorgeous hair, which I'm totally envious of, and snort at her husbands dry and sarcastic humor...or carve pumpkins with her and her girls and husband while eating meatball sandwiches...or have a dinner and watch a U of U vs. BYU game while eating really fattening foods with them (and walk around the neighborhood venting to each other) and them! Or laugh with her about the most random events!

But life came at us...handed us an opportunity we couldn't pass up...and the earth, stars, and sun all lined up for us to pack up our secure and comfortable and perfectly blessed lives to venture to the unknown (at least to my husband) and enter in to COLLEGE life once again!

Here's the highlights!

The evening of the 14th I packed up PeePs and I, and we flew up North so that I could attend GNO!...Thursday the 15th started off with sleeping in...aaaahhhh, PeePs is a sleeper...blessing when I want to sleep, curse when I need to get somewhere in the morning...KT and I packed our kids up and went to the park...this shot was PeePs acting like her usual FUN self...

KT and PeePs...this shot was taken while KT was showing Beau (her daughter) how to do a cheek to cheek shot!

Knox...just waking around minding his business...and yes...he has a binky for every outfit!

PeePs and Beau...laughing at something I can't remember...probably me...I'm probably pulling and absurd face so they will both smile at the same time!

PeePs and I...two peas from the same pod as far as personality goes, curse my independence!

Beau...just because she's adorable and has the most beautiful color of hair!

Well at 4:30 pm it was Pedicure time and Kels, Minds, and Di came to enjoy in the fun...we had fun lauging at everything and, of course, we talked about blogging! Can't seem to have anything else on my mind...ha! Kels is so beautiful...but that is not the half of it...she is more beautiful once you get to know her because her beauty shines from within...I know how that sounds but it is honestly true!
Di...she is pregnant and you can hardly tell...she has such a beauty about her...and her skin is incredible...can you tell I'm envious...well, I am...I have a red head complexion as far as skin goes...so I have to work to get DI's natural skin tone it's hopeless to have such natural beauty as far as skin goes!

Minds...I kept blurring out her face with my camera and finally got one in...Never a boring moment with Minds...always something to talk about with her!

Final result...Yes all my toes look like fingers and practically all the same length except for the little one...but I still love them...they look nice all pedicured up!

L to R: Minds, Me, Dels, Apes, Kels, and Di...all eating at the Cheesecake Factory...that's right read and weep...it was de-lish...we caught up on all Reality TV and, yet again, blogging! Then we got crazy and attended an impromptu, last minute, movie...

Perfectly fitting and SO funny!!!

THANKS, THANKS, AND THANKS girls...I definitely enjoyed myself, for those I forgot to invite I'm sorry and definitely next time, WE MISSED YOU...for those who couldn't make it, WE MISSED YOU TOO!

What would be your favorite thing to do with your friends if you had a night out with them? Give me some ideas for next time!

I hope someone can find a cure...I have it bad!

As you can probably tell from the Element above my posts, I have fallen in love with these UNWORDS! I think they are hilarious. Well, I was looking for my F unword of the day and I came upon this one, which totally describes my condition, here it is and here is my story:

FIMS (fĭms)
a. (acro.) Foot-In-Mouth Syndrome.
Example: My boyfriend has a bad case of the FIMS

I can't wait until they find a cure for this disease, because I have it bad! I wrote this section in my "Why? I just don't get it...really I don't" article, and my most awesomest of friends...her, them, and especially them, and I know they would have, had they been able to make it, proceeded to quote this section out of the post, not word for word, lol:

"Through the 1st semester of classes I had noticed that she didn't have many
friends and so I decided that I would try to see if I could budge her wall she
had set up around herself. If you know me you'll understand I thrive on
challenges such as these. I really do LOVE to get to know people...I'm not just
saying that, I really do...I really, really do... especially ones that people
feel either intimidated by or think are to different to get to know...I love to
see if I can connect somehow with them and become their friend...Most of the
time I find people become mean out of fear of being rejected or seem shut off
because they are really just extremely shy...they want to talk to everyone, but
they just can't seem to physically."

So there is where I put my foot in my mouth...this example is not that extreme, but I have LOTS of, more extreme, experiences with this syndrome, and believe me, I have gotten to the point where I just keep my foot there, in my mouth, and though it is embarrassing when people stop me and say, "Hey, did you know your foot is in your mouth?" I just shake my head up and down furiously and hold up my sign that says, "Better this way, then people know what to expect right from the beginning, they won't be as surprised or offended, in some cases, that I said, what I said, to get my foot in my mouth in the first place". Then those people who made such an obvious observation as my foot being in my mouth just give me that---Wow, that girls messed up---kinda look and we go about our seperate ways. Believe me...it's much better this way!

This is how the conversation went:

Them: "Shelle, we were laughing reading the one part where you wrote how you make it a challenge to become friends with those that don't have friends! My husband and I thought, 'Oh THAT'S the reason she became friends with us'! hahahaha!"

The rest of them join in: "Oh yea!" hahahah "we thought the same thing!" hahahaha!

Me: Jump up and down, hand in my mouth, little squeaks, and then, "Oh my gosh! I didn't even think about it that way!" my cheeks start to pinken, "that's totally how it sounded! I'm such a retard, I didn't even think that, of course, it would be taken that way!" hahaha! I think to myself, duh, Shelle, you are seriously such a dork when you try and explain yourself. (When trying to explain myself in my blog, is what I mean by that).

I couldn't explain myself properly when I was with them because I felt so sheepish to say the REAL reason why I was friends with them and, of course, I had my foot in my mouth so they probably wouldn't have understood me anway. Plus, they would have thought me a stalker...and I'm not...that bad anyway! :)

I would like to explain myself now. With these particular friends, and believe me, this applies to them and my friends who I would lay down my life for, to help them in any way, shape, or form...and YOU should know who you are! At least I hope you do! I want to say, you were a challenge to me but in a totally different way then the way I explained in my bully post!

There are some people you meet in your life that have this aura about them! It's beautiful and addicting and I am like a, bug drawn to the light, when I meet these people. I think everyone has the ability to see this about certain people, so let me try to explain...this is how it usually goes for me:

I see a person either at church, in the neighborhood, or a function where
I might see them quite a bit. I watch these people and,
in most cases, people are just attracted to them! They
give off this wonderful confidence or they give off a friendly and
encompassing vibe that can be so addicting! I am usually scared out of my
mind to go and introduce myself, but I can't help myself, I HAVE to get to
know them, it's like my spirit is telling me that I will benefit from being
friends with them...gosh, this is harder to explain then I thought it would
be. It may sound cheesy, but I actually believe I knew them before I came
to this earth and I believe also that we were close...so I feel like I am drawn
to them! I will admit that I am a person that has been
blessed with A LOT of friends, but there are very few people that I
can really call my CLOSE friends. They are those people that you can be
gone from them for A LONG time and when you get together again, you feel like
nothing has changed, (besides a few wrinkles on my part anyway, and a few
more kids!
) They are those friends that you can call up last minute and
tell them you are going to the zoo and they try their darndest to come, and
some of them actually drop what they are doing and come with you, or they have a
really good reason why they can't...and you believe them because you absolutely
love them to death and know they would've been there if they could've come!

This definitely explains these friends I hung out with this last weekend! I LOVE them to death! I miss them terribly! And they have become a BIG part of who I am, even though some I have only known for a short time! Their shining examples of how to be gracious, kind, unjudgemental, and funny...oh most definitley funny...I am laughing my butt off most of the time I am with them...If I let them get a word in edgewise (wink, wink)!!!

So even though it may seem that I am trying to back track and make up for putting my foot in my mouth...I truly DO feel this way about them and those of you who hopefully know I hold dear to my heart...and the foot isn't going to come out anytime soon...so there is no use backtracking for me anyway, because it will get shoved right back in, in no time at all...which is another reason why I love my CLOSE friends...because they accept me for who I am...foot in mouth and all!!!

Lots of Love, Shelle

P.S. We flew up North for the day and went to go visit Grandma Viv and Grandpa Ty and found out that Grandpa Ty was in the hospital again for staff infection in his knee. He didn't like me taking pics of him sick in bed...but I got this great shot of my mother-in-law...isn't she beautiful!

Then we got to go to the zoo! Our main purpose of flying up for the day!
Here are the friends that came to the zoo with us! Then the others met us for dinner!
An albino alligator...not cute...these are one of my fears...drowning and dying from one of these yucky things...alligator or croc they both scare me!
This is one of the coolest animals the BLACK BEAR...so cool and they look so cuddly and gentle...but don't worry I have seen them in action on the Discovery Channel...they are powerful also!

DCar is so cute in his hate! He's such a boy now...crazy!

This is Pace...Isn't he handsome! Such a fun kid too...I love their family!

Here's Peeps looking at the Elephants on top of Dad's Head! That was her favorite spot because apparently, "My legs hurt mommy, I not walk!"

This is Tal...He's our friends second child...he is absolutely adorable...They kept saying that he was their terror child...but sorry to break it to you guys...he was an angel!!!

So we had a great time! I am posting some of the other pics I took on my Plush Moments site...when I get time...because as you know I had to take hundreds of pictures!!!
