PeePs using her inhaler for the first time.

Although this is not an exciting event...it is an event nonetheless in the life of our family's princess PeePs!!! MountainSport Man and I decided to take PeePs to the Dr. the other day because for a while now (at least since Halloween) she has had this cough. It hasn't gotten any better...but also not any worse. We have been giving her cold medicine but nothing was working. Most mornings she wakes up and coughs and coughs and coughs. Then also at night when she is going to bed, but also sometimes when she is outside and has been playing for while. So I made an appointment and she went to see her pediatrician. Well we found out that she has (the medical term I can't remember) but the lame mans term it is called, "Childhood Asthma". I'm not even sure if I spelled that right. So it most likely will go away as she grows up or it could turn into adult asthma. She has to use this inhaler with a spacer right now every 4 hours and then after a week once a day before she goes to bed. Crazy stuff! My nephew Zak had that, but now has no problem with it...so we are hoping that is the case with Jaksyn...I guess we just wait and see.

DCar's First Time Snowboarding!

Okay so MountainSport Man bought a season pass to Brianhead (thank goodness for student discounts), and decided that this year was going to be the year that DCar learned to do one of his most favorite things in the whole world...SNOWBOADING!!! (I miss spelled that on purpose...love you MSM:)) So he bought DCar his goggles, boots (which he can't even use because all the boards they rent are step ins!), and pants...and headed up to Brianhead with his Uncle Derek Sorensen! According to MSM, DCar did good for his first time! He had one really bad fall, but other than that it was basic tumbles for one first learning the sport! When DCar got home he was way worn out...but so were his Dad and Uncle!

I'm wondering how MountainSport Man is suppose to help DCar from clear over there?

Okay so DCar's Uncle Derek was there too...but unfortunately he was behind the camera the whole time! So I thought it was only fair that we at least showed his shadow to attest to him being there for the monumental event of DCar's first time snowboarding! Thanks Derek for being my eyes!

So PeePs got a Build your own Bear gift from the MountainSport Man's Family Party and she couldn't wait to try it out...or wait was it MountainSport Man that couldn't wait???...still undecided...but we all had fun filling and building the bears. They were named Snow White, Kandie, Roky!
