Single Girl Swag!

My husband said he would read my blog more if I kept my posts shorter.  Like 160 words is all I got.

So in order to appease him today.

Here Baby... I'm dedicating this song to you...

Hugs and Kisses...  Anybody with me?

Love,

Shelle

P.S. Hey I wrote another post about MSM over on The Real World Venus vs. Mars... Check it out! And P.S.'s don't count in the 160 words does it?

Okay...I totally wanted to hate that song. But...I...can't...

Dang it. I'm 36. There is no reason I should be enjoying cheesy pop tunes. I should be content to revel in the "glory days" of AC/DC and Def Leppard.

Sigh...In the meantime, just tell him to follow you on Twitter...that'll be more to his liking.

LOL, so a Twitter would be perfect for him! My hubby too asks me every so often, "so are you still blogging?" and I reply "yep, every day." He did tell me once that he enjoyed reading my blog because he got a new insight into me, but I don't think he's read my blog in a long time. That's okay. I imagine if they were shorter and more on a topic he could relate to he might enjoy them more :)

I actually had to remind my hub yesterday that he needed to read my blog... reminded him that he could just pull it right up on his blackberry and he didn't even need to use the computer...

then he made me promise I wouldn't blog about having to beg him to read it...

I didn't say ANYTHING about commenting about it!

(way to stay under 160 words though... didn't know it was possible)

and... now that I've listened to that song Q is going to think it was the reason I chopped my hair back to short even though he casually mentioned that he was liking it longer...

yeah - well, I liked his longer too... but there's not much I can do about it :)

This would be a great song to spin to! :)

Love it!

Love the song and at least you're husband is willing to read your blog. My husband reads my blog when he's at work and then he tells me he only does it if he's really bored at work. Kind of hard to take that as a compliment!

Bald Canadian Guy-- Don't feel to bad, it is an OLD song re-made with some different lyrics... melody is the same though! :)

Kimberly--I know I know... you and bald guy both suggested Twitter... I'm horrible at that... I try to get on and refresh every minute or so, but I forget cause I don't have the patience to wait... but you're right, he'd probably like reading that better! lol!

T--LOL@ chopping off your hair! I just tell him that it's really OKAY that he doesn't read my blog... cause I tell all the BAD things about him, so it's not for the faint of heart! lol! :)

Amanda--you can't be my friend. love ya!

Shannon--YOu are SOOO right, that WOULD be a great song to spin to.. are you a spin teacher?

H.K.--sigh... my husband has said that also! :) lol!

My husband just makes me read him my posts as he's brushing his teeth at night. It works out okay, I guess, cuz then I make him scratch my back as I drift off to sleep.

Ben doesn't read my blog unless it has pictures. Acutally, he doesn't even read that. He just giggles at the pictures.

Award for you on my Sunday blog!

If he wants it short, maybe he should just follow you on Twitter instead.

I can't believe I hadn't heard that song yet, I'm usually so awesome that way. :D My husband doesn't care enough about me to even ask to make it shorter. What a jerk.

ha ha ha How cute. You're right. P.S.'s don't count toward teh 160 word count.

So who came up with the 160 word count. Random!

I loved your email. And I soooo agree. That run for the roses song is a total YAWNER.

Hey, can you send me the URL to the HIV foundation you put up a month or so ago. My son wants to make a donation.

Hey! That crazy lady that I think looks like you was on Private Practice again last week.
It's creepy. She really could be you. I really think it is.
So, I'm doing some research, because you really need to see, and tell me if you think Im crazy for thinking she looks so much like you.
I'm going to google it, and see if i can find a picture....

Sometimes I have such A.D.D. that if the post looks toooooo long, I can't seemt to read them as I just have such an ATTENTION problem. Kinda like the stuff I get at work on emails, if the story or joke looks to long "delete" does that speak badly of me. But I love your blog missy

Shelle-BlokThoughts said...

Kritta--GIrl... it's a ONE TIME ONLY thing!

Sage--yea, that was what I was doing, listening to my man... yea, just keep telling yourself that! :)

Wendy--LOL... I love that you said that... if you have a GOOGLE READER full of blogs like I do... yea, that happens!
