Secret Box...

Guess what? I'm hosting the Secret Box over at the Real World Venus vs. Mars blog today! It's the first time I have tried it over there. Come over and play and show the readers of Real World how it's done. Get that nasty secret off your chest... believe me, my secrets are coming out today.

Do you have a secret? I got a solution.

I haven't done this for a while. And I need to unload some things on my mind. Some of you are new here so...

Yea... I totally made that.  I missed my calling as a graphic artist.

I thought I'd do all of you a favor and do the SECRET BOX today. Unload your secrets here anonymously or not... only if you don't do it anonymously then it isn't really a telling of a secret as much as it is a confessional.

Leave your secret in comments, get rid of it, and BE FREE!

Or not.  (But you'd be totally lame and doing yourself a disservice if you don't participate--and please tweet or facebook this up, for those who follow you, who may also need a place to dump their secrets at.  You don't win anything but that feel good feeling right *pounds fist to chest* here where it counts.)

Go ahead and follow comments because you may have an opinion on some of the secrets and so feel free to also comment on other people's comments.

Have you ever said something that you wish you could take back the INSTANT you said it, or typed it?

That was me yesterday.

I divulged information, told a secret. It was MY secret. It wasn't one I was holding for someone else, yet I still wish I wouldn't have said it. I WISH I would have had a secret box to dump it in and forget about.

But NOOOOOOO... my fingers had to type or my mouth had to run off and I spilled my secret.

See I'm one of those people that can't carry the burden of a secret. If someone tells me something that they don't want me to tell anyone else, I have my go to person,the one person that actually can keep a secret, that I can unload or share the secret burden with, usually my hubs, (I tell him because anyone that is anyone KNOWS he's part of me... if I know, he knows). Or I would write it down. But what if my GO TO person is the person the secret is about!? Then who do I tell? Not that that is the case, I don't have anything to tell my hubs about my hubs... but you know what I mean. I have this secret to carry around all by my lonesome with no one to help carry the load... ya know?

And then it eats and eats and eats at me... until I unload it.

I so wish I would have had somewhere to unload it so I didn't say anything.

And now I just feel dumb. Again, just so we are clear, the secret was MINE, not someone elses.

Anyway--I thought I'd do all of you a favor and do the SECRET BOX today. It's time... unload Dirty Secret into my Comment Box!

It's DIRTY LITTLE SECRET time!!!

You guys.  I have a secret.  A very secretive secret!  And I can't tell ANYONE.

So I had to pull out the Dirty Little Secret Box.  



Because if any of you are like myself... and have something that you need to get off your chest... but you just CAN'T... then you can throw it in to the box as Anonymous and get it off your CHEST!

What is my definition of a Dirty Little Secret?

Something that you know, have been told, or are a part of... that you can't tell anybody else, but you WANT to... really really bad you want to... but you can't.

So... put it in my comment box... tell your secret, unload... do it as yourself, or Anonymous... but if you do it as yourself... ummmmm... I promise I won't judge, the others might because their SNOOTY like that, but I won't... and that is all that really matters!!! :)

And SHHHHHHH don't tell Pat I told you this... but I didn't recognize her until she opened her mouth REALLY wide... but I pretended to know who she was when we had lunch together!!!  Then I got to looking at my pictures and was like... OOOOHHHH... it WAS Pat the Nutty Hamster Chick! Love ya girl!

I love how T. is all shy-like-Pat's Face... and April has Pat's face DOWN to a Tee!!! :)

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET TIME...also, don't forget to vote!

Freak! IT was WAY hard for us to choose the TOP two.

First of all, I have a panel so THEY can make the decision...but I get in the emails, "It's your contest...here are the ones I liked...you can choose" and stuff like that...

COME ON PEOPLE...I have a hard time choosing between soft soap for my kids or the foam stuff...which they love.

So anyway...there were TWO posts that were in EVERY email...EVERY email...so they are my top TWO for this contest...

NANNYBIRD CRAFTS and BINKS! SO GO OVER TO THE POLL ON MY RIGHT HAND SIDE BAR AND VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE!!! (Yes, I'm yelling that in my head when I type it) NO rules...vote as many times as you want and for whomever you want!

Now...I had two others that tied in the emails for third...and just because I laughed my butt off at them...I'm going to give them BOTH $5.00 Amazon gift cards...not much, but SOMETHIN' for making me laugh, they are: BLOG IS MY CO-PILOT and APRIL HAMILTON! (Can you guys send me your email please?)

So that means...whoever DOESN'T win out of the TOP two...still gets something...even if it's only a $5.00 gift card to AMAZON! :)

It was cool though...everyone got at least one mention out of the panel...so thanks guys for entertaining me yesterday...I totally needed it!

OKAY it's spill you DIRTY LITTLE SECRET time...and I have added over on my side bar just for today the THEME song for today...so you can get in TELL ALL mode.

It's the non-professional THERAPIST in me that indulges myself in hearing about other people's secrets.

So do you need an avenue to get out your deepest darkest thought...consider yourself in good company. Because I know there are things I think about that I want nobody to know or find out...but it's always good to get it out, it releases pressure and build up from holding it in.

I like to comment via email to some of your comments...it feels more personal that way...but some of you are not LINKED up to your emails...so in order for me to email you back about something you commented about and you have a blogger account...just go into your
*EDIT PROFILE
*Then under PRIVACY there is a box next to "Show my email address"-just click on that box. (Make sure and check under IDENTITY that you have an email put in there, any email you want people to have access to)

What it means is that when you make a comment on my blog...I can then click on your comment in my email box and reply back to your email and we can converse!!!

I LOVE talking to you guys on a more one on one basis.
