Day off: Gravity--addiction--people at cross walks

Today is my "day off"

But I had to tell you about something.

So You Think You Can Dance was on last night.

Mia Michaels piece last night moved me. Her inspiration for the piece was addiction... the song, Gravity by Sara Bareilles

It was beautiful... maybe it's one of those things that you only understand if you understand dance, but I don't see how that is the case with this dance. Just the song is incredible in and of itself, but she creates a story.

Maybe I understand it because I understand addiction. Maybe not a drug addiction, but I do understand addiction in my own way. Things I've had to solve, things I'm still trying to overcome...but I understand it.

Anyway... I'm sharing it with you if you weren't able to see it. Not my addiction :), but the SYTYCD piece from last night. (Start watching it at about 1:16) The guy in this piece is from HAWAII--just thought I'd let all my Hawaiian peeps know that! :)

Random Thought: Why when people cross the road on a cross walk do they slow down and then look at you with a smirk while you sit in your car waiting for them. WHY? Don't they remember driving in a car? Don't they remember what it's like to want to run those cross walk people over who are walking slow just because they feel that POWER of control???

Karma people... Karma...

Theme for today... DANCE!!!

Can you smell it in the air?

It's the changing of the Reality Shows, we go from American Idol--eh--so, so... and we get to get by FAR my favorite REALITY SHOW, who premiere'd last night!

(I wish they would ask me first when they photoshop'd my body on that poster... sigh.)

That's right... So You Think You Can Dance. Two hours of bliss... aaahhhh.

Of course we watched it on the DVR so I could fast forward. Sometimes those trying out make me feel all embarrassed for them, SO embarrassed I Fast Forward to save them the humiliation!!!

I'm nice like that.

Anyway... more on that another time. If you are an Alien from another planet and have no idea what I'm talking about... here's a few of my favorites to break ya in CLICK HERE or HERE. Or HERE!!!

I was able to take pictures of a Dance Concert a couple of weekends ago. Here are my two favorite shots.

Now go to Candid Carrie's Friday Foto Finish Fiesta and see who else is playing!

The coolest part of that Dance Concert... my niece performed her solo that she is taking to NYC for the New York City Dance Alliance Nationals--she placed for a spot in the Finals Gala... I'm biased... but I think she is amazing!!! After you watch her, I'll let you know how old she is.

(I'm awesome in this video at cat calling... I have that patented BTW... so you can't do it like me or I'll sue you.)

The girls 10!!! 10 years old. GAH... I love her! She's definitely my FAVORITE oldest niece!

Love,

Shelle

P.S. I'm over at the Real World Venus vs. Mars today. I tell about the pranks my husband pulls on me... come over and say HI!!!

P.S.S. Everytime you comment... I lose weight... just saying.

This Explains my LIFE... DVR anonymous

Uh...Hi... My name is Shelle.

I'm a DVR addict.

Everything I watch I record first.

It makes me feel empowered.  I don't have to watch the show when THE MAN (People who run the TV Scheduling) tells me… I watch it on my OWN time… so TAKE THAT!

So when I watch something like American Idol, a show that must be discussed with various groups of friends and co-workers, I usually find myself watching it in the LATE hours of the night or WEE hours of the morning… because if I don't, someone always SPOILS it for me.

So for ALL OF YOU THAT HAVEN'T WATCHED YOUR RECORDED AMERICAN IDOL… I'm going to spoil it for you in a minute so you might want to come back AFTER you've watched the show.  On your OWN time of course...

I've been HOOKED on phonics with this season, as I was LAST season.  I completely blame my friend from West Jordan, Deb, she made me feel sorry for her that she had NO ONE to talk to about the show so I started watching it with her the season Carrie Underwood won… and my opinion has been needed ever since… sigh.

But if I didn't DVR it now that I know about DVR, I'd never make it through because I can't stand commercials and I can't stand Paula's comments.  They drive me bonkers!

I've already told you I'm not a patient person… so not only is everything she says FLUFF but she takes 5-10 minutes to explain herself… while in the meantime I found myself wanting to grab needles and stick them in my eyes!  Just being honest.

But then I got DVR… I can skip right over them.  It's lovely!

Same with commercials.  I'd be fine if they didn't repeat the same ones OVER and OVER and OVER again.  I have a hard time watching my favorite movies more than ONCE!

Except for Dirty Dancing… something speaks to me in that movie… I think it's the dancing, definitely not the dirty…

Anyway…

We DVR'd last night's show.

I got a couple of texts asking me if I was watching it LIVE.

"NO!"… I text back… and they got the point because I wrote it just like that… if you aren't an expert texter, that means I'm yelling at you when I put it in caps… and when I add the exclamation point it really drives the point home that I mean business.  They are all so scared of me when I do that...

So my text messages were pretty quiet after that.  Except for the one I got from a DIE HARD KRIS FAN that said, "What the Helk?  You'll know what I'm talking about when you watch it!" at about 8 ish .

Me, being sleep deprived, thought "I can't believe he just GAVE it away!"  And then threw myself on the floor and began a tantrum, cause there is nothing I hate worse than someone ruining the anticipation of watching a show I've DVR'd, to watch especially on my OWN time...then my husband reached over and slapped me "it's only 8ish he hasn't even seen the end yet!", and all became right again.

So it was a GREAT finale… and we are literally 1 minute from hearing who the winner is.  We watched the WHOLE two hours minus commercials… okay AND minus Rod Stewarts performance… after he almost tripped for the second time I HAD to fast forward it… but we watched everything else!

Then my Mom walks into the kitchen upstairs talking to my sister, and her voice is one of those that carries, and she says, "I can't believe KRIS won!  Adam was definitely the better singer and performer."

I curled up into a fetal position, sucked my thumb, and screamed "WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!" in my head 100 times... really, really fast!

And that explains my life.

Who wants to take the floor next and make sure to tell us your name and why you are addicted to the DVR.  We'll take this addiction one story at a time.  Thank you.

Love,

Shelle

P.S.  Did you check out Darrell???  What's sexier than a MULLET?

I really should be a JUDGE...it would make MY life easier...

I'm not one to complain...really I'm not.

But the last couple of years I have been forced out of Friendly obligation and co-worker pressure from MY co-workers and MountainSport Man's co-workers (who are all women btw) to watch American Idol.

Usually MSM and I watch some of the auditions and then skip watching until the top 20 or something like that. And then, I'm not gonna lie, we get way caught up in it and our sometimes worse critics then Simon...

This year we decided we were going to watch it all the way through. From beginning until bitter end.

Well I have an opinion! Shocking huh!

I try to keep my Reality TV comments between Me, Myself, and my husband...and then, of course, my Co-Workers...BUT

I'm pissed/mad/discouraged/disgusted/out of my mind perturbed...and my voice and opinion want OUT! Who am I to stop it? Really.

They picked the TOP 36 last night.

I had my top 2 favorites and then the list went down the line. Through what they showed on TV and from what we heard in the auditions during LA...they were both a SHOO in, in my opinion...which is the only opinion that SHOULD matter.

It's two friends that tried out together, of course they are guys (Nothing against the girls...there is just nothing like a guy who has that deep seedy sexy voice when he sings), and one of them Danny Gokey had a tragic experience where is wife passed away...his voice is amazing...scratchy and edgy--yet soft, seriously mesmerizing...

Then there was his friend, Jamal Rogers. Who supported Danny through the WHOLE tragic experience, they are as close as brothers, who also sings as incredible as the other one...I love how he mixed up "Delilah" here:

And yet he didn't make it...

But HE did...

I call him DRAMA guy...kid gots some baggage, I mean he can sing, but between both of them, Jamal and Drama Guy...Jamal should have made it in FOR SURE.

SERIOUSLY!

Okay, I'm good...thanks for listening!!! Just want until SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE...my opinion seems to get the best of me!

I want to know who would like to contribute to HOT VENUS MINDS (aka Hot MOM's) site if I put it up. Anyone want to help monitor it and stuff like that? like CO-OWNER or whatever?

Anyway...if you want to contribute...if you have ideas or a better title for us let me know. Email me at blokthoughts@gmail.com or leave a comment, but I like email then I can invite you all proper like!

I think I'm just going to put up a generic blogger template for now...after I get down to the business of who will be contributing and stuff like that.

I think it would be fun to have a bunch of us so we are contributing once a month or so? And then just chatting about it all...there is nothing like finding out that YOU feel and are going through the same thing as SOMEONE else in a relationship whether good, bad, or just plain fun and wicked (but in a good way) :)

FINALE SYTYCD my opinion...uhhh a little late!

Okay...I watched the FINALE of SO You Think You Can Dance...

Wow...Josh?

....Josh?

Okay, I get that...but hmmm...

Let's just say that a Hip Hop dancer or "untrained" as they kept saying over and over and over again...(we get it, they were "untrained"...even though in Josh's memoir or final talk with Cat he had a picture of him in ballet class (?)...I guess that means he was "untrained"?)...whatever. It was somewhat predictable that someone like that was going to win!

Let's review...

Season 1...best dancer of that season, contemporary/jazz dancer...male--Blake (Caucasian).
Season 2...best performer, but not best dancer...(that would've been Allison or Travis), male (Caucasian)--Ben-BALLROOM dancer.
Season 3...all around dancer, but not best...(that would've been Travis adopted Brother Danny), female--Sabre-- (African American) contemporary/jazz and little training

So season 4 had to be a "less trained" dancer or a different genre and most likely NOT caucasian. So that was Katee only she was a contemporary dancer so to close to Sabre, so she was out, Courtney didn't have a chance, so it was going to be one of the male's. So are you surprised it was the one that could do a double turn?

I'm not...

yet...

I was rooting for Twitch myself. I hate being wrong...

Oh well...

I'm definitely driving down to Vegas to see "BELIEVE" with Wade Robson as the choreographer, (it's also a magic show and cirque de solei sort of thing)...are you kidding? That was sick...and I mean that in a good way! Seriously, if you missed the danced (the homage to bunnies) then no worries...I have snatched it from YouTube for your pleasure because I believe you would have loved it as much as me...well if you like the quirky and weird!!!

I always like when they pick their favorite dances...especially when I agree with them! But I forgot about this one because it didn't stick out to me when I had to watch 9 other dances with it and it was first! So here was my favorite for the Finale Show--Katee and Josh in "No Air":

Alright, Alright...I enjoyed watching that kiss at the first of this routine also...it was much better and cleaner this time then it was the first time they performed it...so here it is for your viewing pleasure... "Mercy" by Duffy

Nice right? Go ahead...watch it again...sexy right? It gives me the quirky butterflies in the stomach...so raw! Love it! Makes you wish you danced right? It does me, wish I could dance like that still!!! At least partner dance!

All in all...they were good this year, but if we put Blake, Danny, Travis, and even Neil against any of these...well they wouldn't even come close...just one person's opinion

let's face it...I matter! ha!

Shelle

P.S. still no Breaking Dawn...so keep quiet!

Incorrigible and SYTYCD

Thanks to all of you who read my really LONG post...yea all two of you...

I see that most of you are like me when reading others blogs...you want to escape, read something that will make you cry laughing. I understand, to bad I have a hard time delivering...I bet I would be WAY more popular than DOOCE or Confessions of a Pioneer Woman or even Candid Carrie if I could shorten my posts...oh and have a comedian type personality...yea I would be rockin' all over the mommy/humor blog world. Unfortunately, trying to get me to type a short post is like getting a newborn baby to pee in the toilet...it's unrealistic is what it is. So sorry, you'll just have to skip those posts when I continue on...I might continue with the story or just REALLY give you my ideas on how I think heaven is going to be...either way, you will not sway me from my course...I am determined to see it through... :)

Okay none of that REALLY matters...what matters is...wait! Do I have your attention? Are you out there? Are you still with me...I mean, I have only written like one sentence and ONE whole paragraph, which should probably be two, but I have admitted that I am no good at determining that kind of stuff...

So just read on...or just skip to the end where I give you the low down on SYTYCD...because my opinion counts!

I'm all about connecting the pieces, solving the puzzle, helping you understand the complexities of my life growing up...I was searching for my next big FLASHBACK when I came upon this picture...and I laughed, and laughed, and then cried, wiped my eyes to see through the blur and continued to laugh!

I couldn't believe it...or yet, I could believe it, but I couldn't! Remember THIS post where I introduce my Native American Sister? She stayed and lived with us for a few years while she attended the high school in our small city. Then remember THIS post and THIS post where I introduce my sister's wedding dress and then show you where we were saving money and I wore it to my end of year concert...the shoulder pads making my head EXTREMELY small.

So I'm scrounging through old pictures when I come upon this picture...Jammie, my Native American, Navaho, sister was in a Native American beauty pageant. Apparently we were still in the throws of having little money and Jammie apparently didn't have a friend to borrow a dress from...so guess what evening gown she wore?
My mom is incorrigible, is she not? Of course, Jammie looks dead sexy in it because of her natural, beautiful, brown skin. Her head still looks small next to those shoulder pads...but let's be honest...whose head wouldn't?
***********************************************************************
SYTYCD: Tonight night was Dave Scott's Night. His style is fun to watch!

Chelsie & Gev: I really did like their contemporary...I still can't get over the choreographers hair...it's ridiculous, but hey, more power to her! Gev's first leap was right up there with technical, but the second and third one you could tell his lack of technique...not pointed toes and no follow through. They ended the show with their Jive and I have to say...even though Chelsie was draggin' around Gev...I didn't notice it the first time I watched it because I was only watching Chelsie...but the second time I watched it through after the judges ripped on Gev...I understood. She really could make a manican look good!

Comfort & Twitch: Yea, Comfort is back!!! (Don't feel sorry for Jessica...thought she should have gone before Comfort) Peeps I like the girl...I think she has a personality to boot. Now their first number with the waltz...ummm...yea, it sucked. I was embarrassed watching them, didn't want to suffer through the comments after...it was horrible. They came back with their HIP HOP!!! Seriously So fun to watch and one of my favorites for the night. Sidenote: Who in the WORLD do they have designing their costumes? They stink at it...and I mean it...what kind of space hip hop costumes where those? YUCK! Since Lil C explained what BUCK meant...that hip hop routine was definitely BUCK! Enjoy!

Katee& Will: BOTH of their numbers where awesome! But of course my favorite was the second one they did! It was beautiful...they weren't flawless in it, but they were close...and I like what Nigel said in the end, when he pointed out that if they would've hit that perfectly, they may never have stepped above it! Enjoy their Pas de Deux!!! (The fact that they danced to Imagine sung by David Archeletta and has become one of my favorite songs...helped a bunch on why it became one of my favorite for the night!)

Courtney & Joshua: So I've decided I really like this guy! He's amazing. I also liked their hip hop routine. Thought was entertaining and fun. She wasn't nearly as good as he was at it, but she didn't do bad. Then their Rumba was exotic and sexy and they hit it right on!

Kherington & Mark: If any couple deserves to be in the bottom two...it should be this couple. Really! They did awful on their first piece...like they didn't practice very much on it. I thought it could have been exciting to watch if they hadn't missed almost every hand connection. Their jazz piece was okay...they danced it well, both of them, but it wasn't THAT great...so mediocre...and they definitely needed a piece to boost them up after their first one. Oh well...this just shows you that a partner can carry you...but when you get switched up...you're going down.

Airplanes, Lakes, Fireflys, Ticks, and SYTYCD...Oh MY!

I LOVE Minnesota! So HOLLA to all of those that live out here in this beautiful place!!! That is where we are visiting this week! My kids and I woke up bright and early to catch a flight up to the main hub airport, where we then got on our flight to Minneapolis, MN.

I have to admit and I'm going to brag a little here, but my kids ARE the best travelers known to man! We had a 2 1/2 hour wait from our first flight to our second flight. I found this play area for kids in the airport and we went over there to waste time...well, they took over that playground...by the time we had to leave, all the kids knew their names and there were hugs all around...it was hilarious!

And PeePs slept the WHOLE flight to Minneapolis while DCar sat behind me by this Polynesian and talked the poor guys ear off...talking about shape-shifters, and this Nickelodeon contest that he is going to win...hahahaha...I apologized to the guy who said, "He is a cool kid, he made the time go by quickly, I didn't mind at all!" It was a 2 hour flight.

My sister picked me and the kids up from the airport!

Here they are...we are waiting for our ride...who couldn't find where we were~ Hey I TOOK the path that pointed us to baggage claim and ground transportation...you can't blame me if I ended up somewhere not typical to be picked up? Anyhow...they found us!

Suns Fan #2 had a surprise for us...she was going to take us straight way to one of the many Lakes around...she had a lunch for all of us packed up and everything! The only place to change our clothes was a Port-a-potty...so ummm...I veto-ed the idea of changing into my swimming suit...but I hurried and changed the kids clothes behind a tree and they took off to the water playing with their Uncle.
Here they are...innocently digging in the sand...I was surprised at the sand and the dried up looking grass that was at the edge of the sand...where I live...dried up looking grass=sticker birds...(weeds that get stuck in your feet and hurt A LOT)...well not here in Minnesota...it's just grass dried up...nothing left to hurt your feet! Crazy~

Then I saw this...(I thought she would freak...but she didn't)
and this...
So I had them do this! Revenge is sweet! Luckily he was game~
Can you believe my kids have the patience of Job...no lie...they kept going until the job was finished!
We had to take a picture of us...I mean come on...
Here is my sister dancing in front of me while we walk to the surprise!...She has great legs!

Then we went to Suns Fans #1 and #2's house...and she MADE us Taco Soup...I was on my second bowl when she asked, "Does this soup taste weird to you?"...I was like..."Ummm...no."

Then I felt like purging the rest of the night because I ate so much...but instead, she showed me another surprise!

FIREFLYS...I had never seen them before...and they are amazing! I thought someone had just put twinkling lights in the bushes and thought it was random...but it was FIREFLYS...

DCar ran around like a caveman trying to catch them...he caught a few, then we released them..

.my sister then let me know there were TICKS around...yea, so I am now continually acting like a Monkey picking through my kids hair and bodies checking for any sign of ticks! SICK...
******************************************************************

SYTYCD:

BLAH...BLAH...and BLAH. What the heck...I didn't think it was all that great last night. Pretty disappointed.

I think Thayne will go home tonight...and I'll be surprised if Comfort doesn't go home with him. If she doesn't go then Jessica will. That is my prediction. But I disagreed with the judges on their Hip-Hop...I thought they were good...and WAY better then the KRUMP dance that Twitch and Kherington did...I mean the judges totally knocked on Thayne and Comfort and then turned around and said to Twitch and Kherington...WHO TOTALLY GAVE UP IN THE END OF THE ROUTINE, "I'm going to ignore the last of the routine"...but Thayne and Comfort performed THEIR WHOLE ROUTINE...double standard if I say so myself!
Their contemporary routine would have been a good routine, but the MUSIC SUCKED...what was Mandi Moore thinking? Music makes or breaks a routine and it BROKE this one...slow and unmoving music...if you watch the routine without the music...it's actually pretty...and was done well!

Jessica and Will...All I can say is I agree with Mia, but that was harsh to hear on National TV. I DIDN'T however LOVE their contemporary routine like the JUDGES did...yuck, it was done well, but I didn't like it, I hated the music and I thought it was slow...but whatever, what does my opinion count!

Mark and Chelsea were my favorite's for last night...so I am choosing their Salsa piece as my favorite of the night.

Good, Great, SYTYCD...Don't forget my Give-away!

Okay, first of all, don't forget to check out what I am giving away, so click here...I'll wait for you to come back...but don't TAKE your time...it's not like I have ALL DAY!

You back? Did you enjoy yourself? Cause I just sat around here like a fly on a garbage can waiting for you. Next time, be a little more sensitive and stay up on my posts...gosh, you'd think you have a life or something that you had to live...everyone who's anyone, knows that THAT excuse won't fly this time...you're just lucky I am nice enough to wait for you...I almost left you...I did...I wouldn't try it again if I were you.

Anyhow. Went to two lunches with old friends in the past week! It was so fun and exciting to catch up...it's funny because the first friend I went with was the friend, you know the one, that you were envious of...well at lunch I told her...FINALLY let it out...that I was ENVIOUS of her legs...all through high school that I knew her she had the most INCREDIBLE legs...she was a soccer player, I was envious of that also, but her legs were perfection...guess what? They still are, she would disagree with me, but I was there...live and in person...and guess what Shan...you still have GREAT LEGS...

With the other friend, Maria, well she is that one friend that I never could get enough of. I looked up to her in SO many ways and she has that addicting Karma. Everyone who meets her wants to be her friend, and she has this way of making you feel like you are her FAVORITE friend. I love her!

Well we got to talking politics, Maria and I. As much as I love humor and laughing and just plain fun, I knew that I could comfortably talk with her and she wouldn't laugh or think I was stupid for my opinions...I knew she would be up on the up. I asked her how she felt about the two Presidential Candidates...and did she ever have an opinion...I was so glad to hear what she had to say...and I feel better informed. Thanks.

So here is my two cents...not worth much I know, but since it's Independence Day tomorrow I wanted to write my feelings on how I feel about the up and coming politics.

I'm scared. Plain and simple. I feel like I am trying to decided between the better of two evils. I don't feel either candidate fully represents what I want or feel like this country needs. I am highly religious...I believe deeply in the religion that I choose to follow...I KNOW that the constitution was and came from God or our Father in Heaven. Every man that signed that Declaration of Independence, I believe from what I have studied and researched, believed in a higher power also...they understood that this document that they had put together was going to be the guidelines of what was to become the Strongest Nation in the world...they also knew that this couldn't happen or wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for God's influence in their lives and his influence on what they wrote. Which is why it states in our Pledge, where we give our Allegiance, "One Nation UNDER GOD" which will make us "indivisible" and will give us our "liberties and justice for ALL".

I am scared that one of the candidates, to me, isn't proud of this nation or country...why are you running for President then? I understand change...to make better, there is a lot that needs to be worked on, I can give you that...but we are still blessed, we still have our freedoms, and seeing the flag blowing in the wind proudly showing the colors of our nation...should give you a sense of pride.

I believe that the reason why America is what it is, is because of the people that live in this country. Those that feel the power of the freedoms we have. Those that respect and honor it.

I heard a quote on Sunday that I think sums it up quite nicely:

"America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."
Alexis de Tocqueville
**************************************************************
On a much lighter note. SYTYCD: HOLY CONTEMPORARY...Mia Michaels was on FIRE last night...but Mandy Moore didn't do to bad herself! Oh how I love you contemporary...let me count the ways...

Jessica & Will: The Jive routine couldn't take my eyes off of Will...he's So good...an entertainer and technique to boot. Sorry but Jessica seems to heavy for him...I know she is NOT, that she is beautiful in her own right and she IS her own worst enemy...but they don't fit together to me. The shirt dance...LOVED it...yes I did...I LOVED it! Watch Will fly at the beginning!

Comfort & Thayne: The West Side Story routine was so-so for me. I LOVE Comfort's personality though...she cracks me up whenever she's up there in front of the judges and the pieces before she dances! Thayne's smile is just weird...sorry can't quite get past it...I love that one of the judges finally pointed it out...it's kinda fakish...ya know?

Kourtni & Matt: Sorry guys...it's your time...I didn't like the hip hop, at all, the way they danced it...it just looked uncomfortable on them...I felt embarrassed for them the WHOLE time I was watching them. Pretty much on BOTH of their numbers...I'll be surprised if one of them is NOT kicked off this week.

Chelsie & Mark: They were good...not the greatest of the night...but good.

Kherrington & Twitch: The paso doble was entertaining in the way that I laughed the whole time. They definitely played up their parts to try and distract from their technique...good try. The contemporary bed dance, however, was EXCELLENT, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, and any other word that goes along on that same line. One of my top two for the night!

Katee & Joshua: Once again, Mia Michaels' choreography was the story in their first dance. Seriously you have to keep your eye on when Katee throws herself through Joshua's arms and he catches her like she's nothing but a light feather...and then the run across the floor where she looked like she was running on air...genius! Katee & Joshua were great in this routine. My other favorite by far! The West Coast Swing, however, don't even get me going...I didn't like it at all.period.not.at.all! SO SLOW...I think I had time to YAWN through it...blah.

Courtney & Gev: The East Coast hip-hop had Courtney all over it...she out did GEV...it's true and sad. The New York City broadway routine was cute. That's it...just cute.

Re-watching these routines I see that the stylists had something with Sleep wear this week...

My love of Dance

Watching the #1 dance show EVER, SYTYCD, I was thinking, "WoW...this stuff is good...but this year hasn't had that MOMENT". So I thought I would reminisce.

Everytime I sit down and watch this show I instantly want to be young again. Being the one learning the routine that someone has thought up in their crazy head instead of the one being crazy making up routines!

I'll never forget my first REAL experience at a dance camp. I was just taking ballet at the time and there wasn't much for a studio in my town for jazz since my Mom had retired from her studio.

My sister, Dance Masta, was teaching at a studio down in Las Vegas, NV while attending college to obtain her Master Degree in Dance. They were going to Dance Attack in Park City, UT and Dance Masta invited me to attend with them. I couldn't get the words out of my head that my Mom had pounded in before I had left,
"Get on the front row Shelle...and when they tell you to rotate lines...stay in the front row. You learn faster and you'll pick up better if you don't have to crick your neck to see. I mean it...stay on the front row!"

I remember walking into my first jazz class and being incredibly nervous. Me being the ever obedient daughter went immediately to the backrow and tried not to talk with anybody...luckily I saw one of the girls I knew in class so I adjusted my position to be next to her, but it wasn't the front row. Dance Masta had helped me pack for the week and so my attire was fine, but I was incredibly intimidated. The girls I had traveled with made me feel MORE THAN welcome, but I just didn't feel as though I was up to par with them. My sister was ever reassuring...telling me that I had the technique to back up what I lacked in style at the time.

The first routine I learned was a lyrical or at least that is the first one I remember. I don't remember the song or anything but I do remember how I felt.
The teacher began to instruct us and I was overcome and swept up in the beauty of the movement. I remember thinking that I had died and gone to heaven. The teacher was beautiful to watch and the music was overwhelming my body to where I don't remember anything but being pulled by the emotion and beauty of the genre known as LYRICAL dance! I couldn't get enough of it...I remember practicing and practicing and practicing just because I LOVED doing it.

During my break Dance Masta came up to me and said, "Shelle you need to get on the front row. You are doing Great, you are a natural, and you will enjoy it so much more if you put yourself on the front row...that is what I do, but I won't force you!"

I walked back into that class with confidence, Dance Masta was my idol, if she did it so was I going to do it, I remember the teacher pointing me out saying to the class that she could see the passion as I danced, and I never felt such a rush of pride. I began to realize that dance was going to be more to me than just a passing phase...I lived and breathed it after that Dance Camp. I tried my hardest to find whatever I could to learn ALL different genre's of dance...

and since that day I have always put myself up there on that front row so to speak. I never lacked in confidence on what I could do...I began to want to create...anytime I was listening to music I could see the movement in my head...to this day I can't listen to music and not see something beginning to form in my brain...my creative juices begin to flow. It helps when I run because I can take myself out of my body and watch the video going on in my head...at least until my heart starts pounding so hard that my brain begins to notice the pain from lack of oxygen...but that's another post for another day.

So as I watched last night I was pleased...but not moved...not like Blake and Melody performing to the music "Heaven":

Or like Allison and Ivan performing to the music "Why":

Who can forget last year with Lacey and Kameron performing to the music "Dancing":

And those are just the Lyrical's...If I mention those three than I have to mention the Fast Jazz with Sabra and Neil last year performing to the music "Sweet Dreams"...holy cow that was so CREATIVE and it blew my mind that I hadn't seen something to that effect with a table...but then again I have been in and out of it since I had kids, if it wasn't for Dance Masta, I would be lost...

So you can imagine my excitement when Chelsie and Mark came out 2nd to the last couple of the show and did this piece last night performing a lyrical hip hop to one of my favorite songs this year "Bleeding Love", I had to watch it 3 times before I felt content enough to turn it off...talk about seeing the passion in the movement as well as the people performing...I wish I could've been there live to feel the electricity in the room! If you don't watch any of the other video's WATCH THIS ONE!

JUST A SIDENOTE:Do you think parents would object if I did a dance to this song? lol :) Seriously what happened to propriety? There is NOW no subject that can't be addressed...nothing is TABOO any longer...this song proves it! "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry...you know what's wrong with this whole scenario...the beat is fantastic...so if you don't LISTEN to the lyrics then it's a GREAT song! lol! Is that rationalizing? Think much?

I'm just being real here but I kissed a girl when I was like 5 maybe 6, actually I don't remember the age...but I was young. You know, just keeping it honest! :)

I think I scared them away...

A couple of weeks ago DCar was doing that soccer camp...remember? Yea well these coaches...the ones in this picture below...well they are from Great Britian...and they...

they have the hottest accents. They aren't really my type physical wise, but I just don't know, there is something about accents that gets me. I don't care how unattractive the men are or what they are wearing...when they talk in that English accent or Scottish Brogue I can't get enough of it.

Don't get me wrong...I am totally in love with my husband...yea, I admit, he would be even SEXIER if he had an accent...but I love him how he is...

it's just that I LOVE listening to an accent. Always have, since I saw Mary Poppins.

In college I met an Australian guy online and we ended up calling each other...I spent a few hundred dollars just listening to the guy talk. For once, I SHUT UP, except when I had to ask a question to listen to him speak...he was also REALLY into Soccer and that was my secret passion...I remember I would watch the WORLD CUP and then either he would call me or I would call him and we would chat for hours about it...or 180 minutes until my calling card or his calling card ran out...true lust for his voice is all it was...but it was fun while it lasted. aaahhhh...just give me a moment while I take myself to that happy place...

okay...I'm back...

To be honest...the guy was always afraid his MOM was going to walk in on him talking on the phone...and I swear he was hidden in a secret barn or casita off of his house because he always had to walk outside and then I would hear him open a door and close it.

He was probably still in high school...lol...You never know over the internet...

Well during DCar's soccer camp you could find me here...
There I am standing with my foot on the table in my Navy Blue Hoodie and over on the other side of my friend there is a couple of the coaches. They rotated around to teach the kids.

So there I'd be relentlessly asking those poor innocent guys all sorts of questions so I could just hear them speak. Instantly they became smarter and more classy when they spoke...especially those from England...it's crazy how that happens :) I would take my camera and casually walk up to them and say, "Hey do you mind if I sit here, again, so that I can take even more pictures...practicing action shots, you know...can't ever get enough!" Smile...casually sit down, open my bag, get my camera out, and then..."So what sorts of food do you like?"

Towards the end of the week I swear they were scared of me. I can only imagine what they were thinking, "Man this lady needs a life!" They took a trip to Las Vegas and left their extra car at my house because we were close like that...okay we weren't close they actually had no other Mom who was obsessively asking them questions. So they had no other choice really...they probably cringed just thinking about it.

When they came back from Las Vegas they didn't even let us know they were taking the car...the just took off...lol...so I basically scared them away.

I feel bad that I couldn't control my addiction to their voices...really I do...except I don't, because I'll probably never see them again...but I have to say...the BEST thing I got from that whole week is this awesome picture I caught with my camera of the Scotsman teasing a little toddler...now THAT was endearing! :)
Hey guys, if you happen upon this nice little post...I'm sorry...I'll treat the next ones a lot better...plus with they restraining order I'm not allowed closer than 100 ft.

:)

So do you like accents? Do you believe that those of us that live in the west have an accent? Because I don't...we sound well, normal...no BIG accent that you can instantly identify us with like those that have a southern drawl or Eastern coast Bronx accent. Just throwing it out there...so what's your opinion?

I've gone postal...see ya!

Okay...so I get home from my photography class and was jumping up and down like a dog for a treat, in anticipation of watching So You Think You Can Dance.

So before I throw this keyboard into the computer...I am going to get this out there...

My DVR...the one I use to love and embrace because it became my best friend...ya know, there for me, a shoulder to cry on when I was having my own pity parties...yea, THAT DVR...well it stabbed me in the back!

I'll admit...I have been neglecting it lately...only getting on it to watch SYTYCD. I have been busy!!! I have signed my kids up for a lot of FUN things this summer...I am working out...I am going to community classes for photography...I am taking a hip hop class...I am working full-time...I am reading...I am blogging...I am making sure my kids get outside to play, especially swimming since it's already pushing a 100 degrees where I am at...oh, and I cook dinner, do laundry, and try to be a better wife, those last three things I am failing out miserably, but STILL I am trying. I know a LOT of you are busier than that...but I am just too tuckered out to watch TV or even my DVR...no time for it!

Only Exception...SYTYCD.

Yea...well my DVR decided that it would FREEZE up during the two hours of SYTYCD. When I turned it on to have it play...ummm first clue was that it said it recorded 841.50 hours. Yea right...DVR's, in case you aren't up-on-the-up, don't HOLD that many hours to record.

So I tentativley tried to play the episode! NOPE...nothing...notta! Said it recorded it...I saw the RED light during the two hours it was recording flashing ON and working fine...but nothing! That's right people...my DVR failed me...it GLITCHED, or so Dish Network said. There was "nothing they could do"...I had to delete it.

SYTYCD doesn't do what other really GREAT shows like, Grey's Anatomy, does...you can't get on ITUNES and buy the episode...or view it on FOX's website like ABC does for Dancing with the Stars...NOPE...you have to wait until somebody smarter than me...transfers it from something or other to YOUTUBE or some OTHER fantastic video site!

So in case you aren't following me very well...NO I did not get to watch last night's episode...and it took every little ounce of will power for me to not YELL at the sweet tech lady helping me last night...

I knew when I called there was nothing they could do...

I knew the stupid thing did it to get me back...I REALLY believe it has a mind of its own...

okay I don't...but the way I was pushing the buttons and calling it names last night, you would have thought I ACTUALLY believed it could hear me and that it was scared and ashamed of itself!

Until I find some great way to view the show...or one of YOU wants me to come to your house and watch it...I'll be waiting for someone to put the episode on the internet so I can view it!

Okay I need to go bang my head against a wall right now...oh and take care of my kids and nephews...so I'll check you later...

If I haven't blogged in a few days, don't worry, my husband probably checked me into a mental institution!

SYTYCD--why the crying?

OKay last night there was MORE crying...it is just me, or is there more tears this year? Goodness gracious! I UNDERSTAND they were sleep deprived...I UNDERSTAND their bodies were sore and in pain...what did they expect? A walk in the park? Seriously, give me a break...buck up sweethearts it's only going to get harder and more intense if you make the top 20!

Speaking of who made the top 20 here you go:

I was sad because they didn't take my cute red head from SLC. The one where her Mom choreographed for "High School Musical"! I was bummed about that...

And I was bummed and disappointed that the pop and lock guy who was amazing in LA decided to quit straight way when he started learning the hip hop choreography...

Oh well...they do have some of my top favorites though...GEV, breaker from SLC; Kourtini Lynn, I believe she was from LA; William, Debbie Allen's protege--watch out I bet he is going to be AMAZING; Chelsie, the sexy ballroom chick from SLC, Kherrington made it, the soccer girl from LA, And i've always liked TWITCh who HAWK beat out last season in Vegas for the final boy position!

Oh and what about the girl who was going to go to the next level and she kept talking, "I appreciate your comment, but..."--She was a tapper...the white girl with the blonde hair!

This was the SURPRISE GUEST at this weeks auditions! HILARIOUS!

So You Think You Can Dance Week 2

After reading the new book by Stephenie Meyers called, "The Host", and putting a load of laundry in...I decided to be active and take my kids to the city pool. I squeezed into my new Hapari swimming suit, which I love, I wished it had a better body to adorn, but I love it nonetheless...It does make me feel like the shiz when I wear it!

Anyhow, I rushed home to get dinner ready so that it would be done before my husband and I went out on the town to scope out good photography spots! You thought I was going to say that I wanted to have dinner done before So You Think You Can Dance came on...silly people...That is why I have DVR!

Driving around was fun and the scenery is just beautiful where I live...I scoped out some fun places to take pictures and we lost our light so we headed home. I was like a little girl waiting to eat her first piece of chocolate cake anticipating tonights second night of SYTYCD.

So you will understand my going postal on my TV when I find out that our Dish Network was "experiencing technical difficulties" one hour of the 2 hour recorded show! That's right...I missed the first city tonight! I was SOOOOO upset...in my mind I was jumping up and down screaming and stomping like a teenager because I missed even a second of my favorite reality TV obsession!

The lady with the gray pants and the black shirt from SLC, UT should stick to her acting career or financial consulting...the mom with her four kids, I applaud your bravery, but you need to take a break from the kiddo's when you try out on National Television...just putting it out there! I know people don't agree with me or think I am very rude, but if you actually watch the show...you would know how good you need to be--yes, yes, I know they put some of the people on there for the "Television" aspect of it...so I'll shut up! I actually thought the guy that graduated from Juilliard in 3 years was amazing...yea he dances like a girl, but he is incredible! I understand why they didn't take him, his personality, but he IS an amazing dancer...just calling it like I see it, his dancing flowed so well into his acro-gymnastics! There is SO much more I could say, but I'll save it!

But here are my absolute favorites from the two days!

I loved this girl...I felt the same way with my older sister that this girl felt about her Mom...you do put a lot of pressure on yourself...hers is by far on a grander scale, but DANG my sister is amazing and is recognized a lot for it!

She was so great! I also related to her, except I never did ballroom, which I totally regret now!

SYTYCD Premiere...Thoughts?

Okay, so I sat for two hours completely immobile, which is to no ones amazement...extremely easy for me...to watch the premiere of MY favorite REALITY TV series (I DVR'd it, so it wasn't quite two hours)! So You Think You Can Dance!

This week is was audtions in LA...and "SEX" was back. If you don't know who that is then you haven't been an avid watcher like myself. He really is not worth video space on this post, but I mention him because its amazing what one person will do to themselves to get on TV, and because he's...well...gross (you can youtube him and put sex and so you think you can dance as your search terms)! Sorry, it's true though, unless you are into that, and NOT that I mind or judge you in front of your face, just don't let me know. Even though I would put on a smiling face for you, I would definitely judge you in my mind! lol...I kid...sort of

So here are my favorites from LA in case you were interested, which I'm sure you are not...but in case you are!

This guy is so good at what he does...he's a contortionist/popper...and he's amazing! He was MountainSport Man's favorite of the night.

Yes, MSM watches with me. I thought it was because he wanted to spend time with me and enjoy what I enjoy, like when I watch his old martial arts movies...no, he HAS to watch it because the ladies at his work, (he works with only ladies...he's the only guy) and they talk about the show and he doesn't like to NOT know what is going on...

so thanks to MSM's co-workers!!! :)

Since I love all things contemporary...I would much rather choreograph a lyrical than a fast jazz or character...I loved this girl from last night! Soccer and Dance...a girl from my heart...she actually reminds me of Lauren from last season...the energy and personality! Watch their exits after they get their tickets to Vegas!

Now here's Lauren from last years auditions:

American Idol...Dancing with the Stars...YES!

Awesome fun for Reality TV this week...

The TWO Davids made it into the Finale...yes! I liked those two from the tip top very beginning...I should be the Paula, but more the girl version of Simon...cause I usually fast forward Paula's comments because...I don't want to hear about how GOOD they look Paula...I want your HONEST opinion on their singing...ANd it would be nice to, for once, let out my real opinion...you know, the one I keep locked up inside my brain because it is too HONEST and probably, most likely, rude...

I thought Paula looked decent on Tuesday night...until she stood up and I saw that she was wearing a leather corset...it just never seems to be exactly RIGHT on with her wardrobe. I do appreciate that Paula is sometimes the contestants saving grace from crying like a baby with a diaper rash...and I give props to her for that...but I can never take her opinion seriously, okay I can't say NEVER, but just a lot of the time!!!

Anyhow...didn't care for ANY of the songs they sang Tuesday Night...and I pretty much knew that Syesha was out...so now it doesn't matter to me who wins...I like them BOTH! Yea for David!!!

"Dancing with the Stars" Results show was freakin' sweet!!! Yea, I said it, freakin', love that word...anyhow, check out this Production by Omarion--It will knock your socks off...my favorite is when all the guys are dancing with Omarion and they do a slide move with one knee bent and one knee straight and they slide forward...it's trippy and I want to know how to do it...or at least teach it, so that I can see it more often...loved it!

Let me just shout to whomever cares that Utah is dominating the Reality TV talent spiffs right now...David Archuletta from good ol' Murray Utah...and Brandon and Brittany from Orem, UT...Okay they are not REALLY dominating, but pretty sweet...and from "So You Think You Can Dance"...two of the three winners were from Utah! Holla! Just feelin' the pride folks...

Anyway, this cute kid couple that was on "Dancing with the Stars" in the Kid talent competition, I actually saw the boy a couple of times at other dance competitions when I was up watching my niece Dance...Brandon actually danced in my niece's concert, in one of the ballroom numbers, and I leaned over to my Mom and was like, "Okay PeePs is totally doing Ballroom, and that kid is seriously REALLY good"!!! THen you can imagine my surprise when I see his face on TV!

Anyway...this piece they did is incredible...lots of props to Utah Ballroom Dance Trainers at Center Stage and the break off studio (sorry don't know the name)-you guys are incredible teachers to produce such great Ballroom Dancers--These kids are the next professionals! ENJOY!

So who do you want to win American Idol? Didn't you just love that piece with those kids? All right opinion it up...but if you leave a comment saying I waste too much time watching Reality TV shows...don't waste your energy...just type one word...REALITVWASTE--another UNWORD I'm working on...anybody want to give it a funny definition?

Scooter it up!

I worked on Goal #3 yesterday...as I am trying to do every Wednesday through Saturday, but PeePs slept in...thank the heavens above...

After having to wake up at 3:15am by my cell phone to try and get to work by 4am...but somehow being able to dismiss the alarm in my sleep and not remembering that I did it, then suddenly waking up out of deep sleep frightful that I have missed something very important...looking at the clock...realizing that I slept through my cell phone alarm and MountainSport Man's own massage (keep bugging Shelle until she grunts, throws limbs around trying to hit annoying man behind her, then toss covers off of her in a temper and toss body pillow over annoying mans head to let him know how bugged Shelle is) sort of alarm...frantically and begrudgingly I wake up, throw my hair back, slip into favorite sweat pants that need to be desperately washed and one of MountainSport Mans long sleeved cotton shirts for comfort (because at 4am I need that warmth and comfort, and the smell of MSM gives me that...creepy I know, but one does what one has to, to go to work so early and miss waking up to such a gorgeous face, minus the less than perfect lips!) and fly out of the house at warped speed to clock in at 5:15am, almost two hours later than planned.

Luckily I work on a flexible schedule so I am only late for what I set for myself to get the needed amount of hours in to keep benefits and be at home with my kids during the day!

After all that...PeePs slept in and so I slept in after I got back from work...and because I slept in I missed my window of working out at the Rec Center because they only have the day care open for a certain about of time. I had slept pass that time and therefore couldn't go and run on the treadmill or workout on Mr. Elliptical (he's not going to be very happy with me)!

I wasn't going to let that mess up my streak of working out 4 times a week that I have been so good about...so (after checking to see if I had, by some miracle, surpassed my 7 comment hump by noon...I hadn't, well not truthfully, Thanks Kiss for trying...you're a dork and I love it, but I don't think commenting one word at a time counts)... I gathered up the brats and had them get their scooters and we rode over to the track...well I jogged. PeePs' princess scooter, a three-wheeler one, I noticed...kinda...well, really sucked. So I told her that if she would be good at the track for Mom while Mommy jogged her two miles, then I would get her a new scooter.

We can have a discussion about spoiling your kids another time, but I was happy to do this for her, especially after she refused to ride her scooter anymore because, "Mom, I no ride my scooter, my legs not work on it!"...I'm sorry but she just deserves it, I mean her legs don't work with the one she has...I HAD to offer the new one, in order to bribe her to be good so I could get my workout in, all right I didn't have to, but it just felt so good!

To my surprise...literally, BOTH of my kids ran at least 2 times around the track and walked another 2 alongside me...during warm up and cool down! They were amazing...I was impressed and proud as a Momma Bear!!! They either sat and watched me the rest of the time or they played whatever they play on the stadium stairs...I know, I'm lucky! We threw a frisbee around and kicked the ball we brought for awhile...then we headed home and took showers and went to Wally World Walmart to look for a girlie scooter and DCar got to pick out a movie that was on Sale...all was right and happy on our BLOK!!!

So I knew you wanted to see this well earned scooter of PeePs'. She thought she was Queen Bee for sure!

Yea it's a Barbie Scooter because there wasn't a princess one.

It was so warm yesterday...PeePs was sportin' her tank top!

MSM helping out, as is his norm!

My brats are competitive towards each other, but DCar is always nice to "let" PeePs win!

DCar was showing me some air! I started this from scratch and did the cool effect...or I think its cool...on photoshop all by my lonesome, well except for the color...I boosted it by applying the PW Actions again....but the effects are all my own!

I'll post the rest of the pictures on my Photography blog...some before and afters...always fun to see the difference!

P.S. Here is my favorite Idol performance of this week...sorry about Carly...I thought it was Syesha for sure...but I was wrong...oh well! Archuletta I love your voice...but Cook's song choice and the way he sang it...well, it gave me the tingles!

American Idol...you're my inspiration...lol!

Hey everyone,
There were some really good songs!
David Archuleta- I love the ANGELS song and so it was a winner for me! It was pitchy in some areas, but I just love his throaty sound!!! I think he could be an American Idol, but he's not the only one I think that about, it's hard this year!
David Cook- I'm sorry, but didn't know his song, and I don't think he sang it well at all! He seemed a big cocky last night to me, and the jacket needed to go...sorry guys! He is still one of my favorites though and I would be happy if he would win!
Michael- Didn't like him either! Or at least his song...but I could listen to him talk all day! His pants kept throwing me off...didn't think they worked with his outfit!
Kristy Lee - I love her song...or the song she sang. I thought she did really good! But she won't win...so it's just time for her!
Brook White - Yea...ummm...didn't like her look, or the pouty face, or the outfit! I love how they were like..."well, that was pleasant"...she is one of my favorites when she does songs that are in her element!
Carly- I just don't know about this girl... great vocals but just can't get what it is she is trying to do. She seemed very angry in the song. Did not like it at all! The only reason Simon said she looked nice was that he got into trouble last week for insulting her. Her wardrobe stinks though. I agree with Christina here.
Syesha- I liked her song and how she sang it...the fact that Fantasia is her idol threw me for a loop...but she is not original...so that is that!
Jason- I'm not usually into his songs, but I did really like this version he sang, and I love the Ukele so that was fun to see him play that! He did awesome for me and was one of my favorite of the night...if NOT my favorite!

Here was my favorite for the night:

No! Peeps don't open that!!!

Isn't having your children potty trained kind of a love/hate thing? I mean to be perfectly honest, with boys it's just a love thing...boys can potty anywhere! With DCar if he needed to go to the bathroom we would find the most secluded piece of dirt and let him have at it, or if we were standing in the Hollywood Tower of Terror line at Disneyland's California Adventure Park we finished our water bottle, and stood around him, and let him "try and fill the bottle", (we had to make a game of it to help him get over the stage fright, think about it...you know what I mean)...it was wonderful!

But girls...it's a whole other story. You would think with me being a girl that I would remember that girls make everything just a little more difficult when it comes to bathroom anything...(hey girl...you know it's true, don't deny it)...pulling over to the side of the road basically, sucks, with PeePs! Sure I can hold her and help her try and pee...it doesn't help that she absolutely refuses to go anywhere but on a toilet, so we have to have DCar show her its okay, and then she ends up getting it all over the one holding her!

I had another wonderful experience with PeePs while at Target the other day. She had to go to the bathroom immediately after we get there and get her settled in the basket and we take off at warp speed passing by the bathroom sign, she innocently points and says, "Mommy I have to pee!"...BOOM, instantly my patience is gone...(why does she wait until I get her all settled?) but I get her out of the cart and take her to the bathroom, just in case this is serious (DCar will NOT enter a Women's bathroom so he stayed outside to "watch the cart"...like it was going somewhere? Gotta love his pride...gets it from his Dad!)

She sits down to go to the bathroom and she has the same process everytime. First she has to take off ALL of her clothes from the waste down...I still don't understand that...anyhow, then she has to sing...so after the ABC song, TWINKLE-TWINKLE, and her new favorite, the SIGNING TIME theme song, she goes pee. After having to wait through that whole process I end up having to go pee too... so I sit and go to the bathroom and, of course, she encourages me to sing. I just chuckle and say that mommies don't have to sing when they pee. She insists, so I appease her and sing, "I like big butts"--okay just kidding I didn't...I showed her who was boss and didn't sing. I get done and stand up to pull up my pants, but first... I have to fix my garments, well by that time PeePs had flushed the toilet for me and opened the door...imagine me with my shirts above my chest, my chin holding up my shirt, my legs spread out, and me bending over to get my pants to pull them up...Hey stop laughing this is a serious situation here...well, when you can finally see through your tears ...imagine being the Target employee who got to see that pretty sight through the mirror! OH I feel so bad for her...I know it was NOT a pretty sight...she is going to have to pay for major therapy! I scream, "No, PeePs don't..." but it was too late...the damage was done.

So potty training a girl to go to the bathroom for me is a love/hate sort of thing! I never had to worry about her opening the bathroom door before being potty trained because I wouldn't have had to go to the bathroom in the first place at Target...I try to avoid public bathrooms if I can...

Lots of Love, Shelle

PS-David Archuletta and Michael Johns were my favorite for this last week! I do hate how people are saying that David Archuletta can only sing one way...HELLO...don't know if you have noticed but they all only sing ONE way...David Cook sings sexy rock, Michael Johns sings his way, Brooke White sings slow and plays an instrument...more like Jewel or someone like that-They all have their own comfort zone, their own sound, and they all sound better doing it that way...they all sound awkward doing it any other way! So that is all I have to say about that!

Other things to read
