VIDEO: Surprise! Look what I picked up at the Library!

I'm sorry I'm all up in your face on this one...didn't realize I was sitting so close to the monitor...

Someday I'll get this video thing down.

So I picked up a little surprise at the Library!!!

Heidi Ashworth is a gal I consider one of my CLOSE blog friends. She may think differently, but it's my blog so I get to state it how I want to see it.

It was love at first comment. I first saw Heidi hanging out at Crash's site...obsessed with Crash...wanting to read her FIRST thing every morning!!! And I was like...I NEED dedicated bloggers such as Heidi.  And plus I laughed and laughed at her witty comments...the girls a crack up!

She never DID become obsessed with me...

So I checked out her blog...and then found out she is an author...published, so like she does it for a JOB...

So then I envied her.

But I couldn't hate her because I already loved her from Crash's comment box...dilemma...

I might even be able to meet her next weekend, in real life...so STOKED!!!

So Heidi...in preparation, and fingers crossed that I actually get to come see you, ...I'm going to read your book...YEA for great timing with the LIBRARY!!! :)

Anybody else want me to fall in love with you at first comment???

Let's be honest, I most likely already have or I wouldn't stop by and comment...I'm bratty like that...

Seriously, tell me the truth, is it sad that sometimes I feel closer to BLOG world friends then I do Real life friends?  Unless my Real life friends blog...well, they have an advantage.

Love,

Shelle

You are in soooo much trouble!!! Especially if you picked up your book at the new library.....cause that means you were just a hop, skip and a jump away from me at my one job! But, I will forgive you, since we are going to do lunch...next week?

I just had to look at my calendar, because I thought that next weekend was the weekend she's in Utah, but it's the following weekend. YOu aren't in Utah next weekend are you?

Your little video blogs are just so darn cute.
Funny how those little "coincidences" in life happen.

It's not sad at all (the blog world friends) after all who else can you talk to and catch up with at 3 am, in your pjs?

I'm working my way through the book too. You'll have to review it when you're finished!

Can't wait to hear (read) your book review!

Yes, I am an idiot. But it's not my fault. I just returned from the Britney Spears concert, and really, need I say more. But it was awesome.

Anyway, so does that mean you are in town next weekend? I need to find out what Miss Heidi's plans are, so I can meet her at something!

So, I have no idea who Heidi is but I guess I will have to check out the competition. I REALLY did want to be your best friend. I can't write...ok I really can't do anything and I come with alot of baggage but I could really use an E-BFF, so dump that Heidi girl!

I love regular commentators! I also enjoy reading the same blogs regularly. I think the whole commenting things sorts itself out as people gravitate to blogs that resonate them. Blogging is good like that.

Jealous! I haven't found that book at my library. And um...are you gonna be in PG when she comes? Cuz I'm hoping to go, too!

T said...

maybe we should just do lunch in PG if we can all get that far... carpool? of course, I still have to convince my hubby that I need a day off... and he's still a little weird about me saying "my friend" when I haven't met these people yet... he's so "grounded" :)

and April - where the heck are you working - I'm at the new library twice a week (while the kids are playing baseball!)

The Wixom Zoo said...

Okay, you've convinced me. I just reserved a copy at my library. Hopefully I can read it soon... Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm totally there with you! Hey, are you coming to the Heidi-viewing here in Utah? Do I actually get to meet you?! I totally feel closer to some of my blog friends than my "real-life" friends. Hubby thinks I make you guys up!

I'm going to check out your author buddy!

I was lucky enough to have a friend who buys books like crazy and so she bought Miss Heidi's book and I borrowed it. It was fun and strange to read a book written by some one I "know". Yea I think my blog friends are real also. And I feel closer to them than real life friends also. You say it like its a bad think.

Blog friends are way mo betta than real friends, lets face it. The only thing better than a blog friend is a cell phone friend, or a pen pal (like with pen and paper!
A blog friend never asks you to help them move, watch their brood, feed their dog etc etc etc and you can answer emails anytime you want. A cell phone friend is mo betta cause you can always just hang up and if they ask you say dang my service dropped you!
A pen pal, now thats a sweet deal right there. They don't even know for weeks that you quit being their friend!

LOL Southern Sage.

Aw Shelle, I thought I am your best bloggy friend...lol..jk. I'm with ya on Heidi, I think it's so cool that we have a really cool published author bloggy friend who's so modest about her fame.

I'm jealous of all of you people in Utah, you gals get to meet her and who knows, have her autograph while we Hawaiians will only hear about it. I want to read that book too, just couldn't afford to buy one for myself...I need to go steal Crash's copy.

Love the video, can't wait to read the review.

I read the book and bought the book. very cool. I am going to try and be there when Heidi shows up. I have some bloggy buddies willing to pick me up, cause I DON"T drive ont eh freeways much. It's a safer world out there when I dont. (tee, hee) Maybe I'll see you!!!!!!! your videos are cute -- you as cute as a button (that's the kind of thing my grandma used to say)

That is stinking awesome!!

No I totally don't think it's weird that you feel closer to us than real friends...

I totally do.

I talk about you to Chris like I've known you for years!! LOL :P

And I have a part of Crash in my sewing room sooo..yeah!

AND you got me started on Twilight!

You can't NOT feel close to someone that does that!

:)

AND YOU KNOW T!!??

Gosh I wanna move to Utah.

Very cool, will be looking for her book!
Is that wine in a box on the shelf behind you??? lol

Ahhh, Shelle, you make me feel like a rock star!!!! In my defense, I have to say, I am very bad about reading the comments that people make on other people's blogs and so didn't get to know you in Crash's comment box the way you got to know me. Also, you were sooooooo darn popular (I saw you in EVERYONE'S blog list) that I figured you wouldn't even notice if I came to your blog or not. By the time I got a clue and came to check out your blog (and immediately became a follower!!) I had no obsession left to be obsessed with anyone's blog. But I have been a faithful reader and happy to be! Thanks so much for this little bit of fanmania. Love it! You are so adorable and I really hope you can work it out somehow so I can see you when we're both in Utah. (though I totally understand about plane flights and all of that stuff). Anjeny--don't buy it! Just borrow it from Crash! What could be better? Wendy--I am the EXACT same way about freeways. EXACTLY. I don't use them. I go around or catch a ride. so, I totally get it. I would love for you to be there and hope you can get a ride but if not, I won't hold it against you. :)
